Clients can hide likes on posts they see from others through another part of the settings board. Select this choice by going to Settings > Posts > Hide Like and View Counts. Today marks the launch of the new “Like” count feature on Facebook and Instagram. 

Instagram users will now have the choice to turn off “Like” counts on other people’s posts by visiting the app’s settings. Turn on the setting under Settings —> Posts in the app to disable the “Like” counts that are displayed on other users’ posts that appear in your feed.

Because it is the default setting, users will once more need to adjust the setting in the app if they want to avoid seeing “Likes.”
